Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American writer, performer and actor most famous for her role as Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she began her acting career on stage for Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. After that, she acted on Broadway for a number of performances until 1957 in which Li'l abner was huge at the National Theater. The same year, She recorded her first album, It's Time to Tina. Louise began her Hollywood career in 1958, in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a drama film. It was a huge success and Louise received the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's teacher. Her most memorable performance came through in 1964 when she enrolled with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise Balfour continued to successfully juggle between Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber character as against her famous image as an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary however she also was an effective television director in several series including Supernatural & The 100. Born in Essex, Ontario on 28th August 1965, her family moved to Toronto at the age of three. She spent her childhood in Toronto and through her teenage years. Her home was in Vancouver when she was chosen for the role of Samantha Carter.
