Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil (born June 15, 1985) is an American actress, best famous for her portrayal of Margo on 'The Magicians'' a Syfy fantasy-drama series that aired from 2015 to the present. Prior to that, she was acclaimed in the role of a 13-year-old Lebanese-American girl, Jasira Maroun, who is undergoing tumultuous personal experiences in the context of the U.S. war in Iraq during the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film , 'Towelhead'. She was chosen from Variety for inclusion in "10 most watched actors". In the 2009 film Crossing Over she played Taslima Jhangir. The film also received her nomination for an award in the Independent Spirit Award category for 'Best female lead'.
