Hayley orrantia was born and raised in the US. She is primarily an actress, but she's also a singer and songwriter. Most people know the name as Erica Goldberg, from the show 'The Goldbergs' on television. She is mostly as a musician. According to her, is the very first thing she is passionate about. She started playing with it when she was nine years old. When she was 12, music became serious enough for her to start training professionally. The singer-songwriter began writing songs at 13 and was 14 when she recorded her debut album of covers songs. From that moment on she's never looked back. Orrantia has Hispanic origins, but was born in USA. She's proud of the existence of Hispanic origins, despite using English only and never lived in Mexico. Through studying Spanish and writing songs she is trying to maintain the spirit of her culture. She has recorded an Spanish version of the song, titled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia performed for The X Factor during its inaugural season, which aired in the summer of 2011. Orrantia's YouTube video was selected and she was awarded four "yeses" (or votes) by the judges at the Seattle audition. Originally auditioning as a soloist, she and three female vocalists were placed together for the remaining auditions in "Hollywood Week". The group was eliminated from the show in the fifth week of live performances.
